Nitrous Oxide
For our patients who are not quite so anxious, but who still get a little tense during dental procedures, or are fearful of needles, we offer nitrous oxide, commonly known as 'laughing gas.'
The use of nitrous enables patients to reach a comfortable state of relaxation during their dental treatment, yet since the gas is released from the bloodstream with a brief oxygen treatment, it is completely safe to drive yourself to and from your appointment.
